Hi, I'm Stina.
I share my story of having been raised in Australia - studied, worked, lived, and actively participated in the community in this country for over 20 years including being City Ambassador... Yet strangely, the journey towards making this place my permanent home has been near impossible.
In sharing my story, I hope to bring awareness to the unnecessarily convoluted migration system that we currently have in place, the systemic and social challenges, as well as instill hope for change and resilience to stay the course and highlight a generous community that refused to stand by and instead chose to fight. Together, I believe we can make meaningful changes towards a smoother, more fair process and a more efficient system.
